Dome Shows:
$1.00 per person for each show. Free for Family Explorer members and above.


All children must be accompanied by a supervising adult while visiting CNSE CMOST, and all adults must be accompanied by a child.

Nanovember
Saturday, November 22

CNSE CMOST will open its doors at no cost during this event that will give attendees an exciting hands-on adventure into the world of nanotechnology. Families will be able to experience exhibits and other hands-on activities, including experimenting with scented balloons and exploring how some scientific innovations are derived from nature. Every Saturday from November 15 through January 3, 2015, all kids 12 and under receive free general admission to CNSE CMOST.

Science Story Time - Every Autumn Comes the Bear

Join a museum educator for this science-based story time. Each week, participants will read a different science story, enjoy a project-based activity and more! No pre-registration required, activity included with museum admission. Ages 2 - 6.

Animal Adventures Camp-In
Saturday, November 22
7:00 PM to 9:00 AM
Join CNSE CMOST staff for a walk on the wild side in this animal adventure. We'll learn about habitats, animal kingdoms and more in this exploration of all things animal! This camp-in satisfies some requirements for the following badges: Girl Scouts - Bugs, Senses, Animal Habitats, Animal Helpers. Ages 4+.Learn more.

School Vacation Camps

Wednesday, November 26 - The Science in a Story Book
Join us as we integrate science and reading in this storybook camp experience. The Three Little Pigs will help us to discover more about engineering and building materials, and Rapunzel will be our introduction into hydraulics! Ages 5-7.

Wednesday, November 26 - Awe-Some Astronomy Lab
Are you interested in learning about the wonders of outer space? Join in on this special journey as we explore space, its many planets, moons, craters and other cool things! Through the course of the day, campers will create their own planets, investigate comets and more.ges 8 - 11.

Friday, November 28 - Wild Things Lab
Come to this camp to delve into the science behind our Operation WILD exhibit. Campers will explore our animal collection, learn what it takes to care for the animals each day and more in this wild things camp.

Friday, November 28 - Video Game Lab
In this camp participants will investigate the science of video games! They will learn how video games are created and experiment with developing their own using Scratch.
